A Hero for Our Time: Super Antioxidant Saves the Day!

Super antioxidant is present in our day to day food products and we can benefit from them as long as we know what and how much to eat. Specific substances in fruits and vegetables are extremely beneficial for our bodies and our well being; hence the expression ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’. Those substances are known as super antioxidants.

Oxidation is an essential process that our body goes through in order to undergo metabolism of fats and glucose so they can turn into heat and energy. Oxidation is a vital part of life but it also has its negative effects.

When oxidation takes part in our body a highly unstable substance is produced called free radicals. These free radicals convert any other cells that they come in contact with into free radicals as well. Through this process a chain reaction is commenced which results in massive cell damage.

The Benefits of Super Antioxidant

Super antioxidants act as a guardian and protector of the body by hunting the free radicals and putting a stop to their mass conversion of cells. After they stop the chain reaction they then start the healing process to the harmful effect caused by the free radicals in the first place.

They provide us from health to looks as they act from inside of our body to improve our health and protect our skin from aging and wrinkles.

Finding the Super Substance

Eating healthy is the key to an endless supply of super antioxidants. The list of such foods is endless; starting from dark chocolate and olive oil (which is great but you should not consume it in large quantities as it will add calories and then you will have to worry about a whole other issue) to blueberries and pumpkins. Most fruit and vegetables have super antioxidants naturally.

There are also grains that contain super antioxidants as well. The most important part however is to learn how to mix your foods in order to achieve the maximum super antioxidant out of them.

Last but not least vitamins contain super antioxidant. Multi vitamins usually will have a great combination of them. There are also plain super antioxidant pills available under different names such as Lycopene for example.

It is in your interest to research or consult your doctor for guidance. Eating healthy does not only supply you with a super antioxidants, but through them they provide you a better healthier life full of energy and color.
